Acupuncture
Within each of us are meridians, or channels, through which energy (Qi) flows. Similar to the messenger pathways of our nervous and circulatory systems, these meridians act as conduits for energetic passage. When these passage ways become blocked, we get sick. With the use of hair-thin needles on specific anatomical points, Acupuncture helps regulate the flow of these meridians, open blocked channels, and promote a state of health.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese Herbs have been studied and formulated for thousands of years. Herbs are prescribed in formulas (combinations of herbs) that are specifically designed for the unique needs of each individual. Herbal medicine is a large part of Chinese medicine that is very effective on its own or together synergistically with acupuncture, nutrition and medical Qi Gong.
Medical Qi Gong and Meditation
Medical Qi Gong (energy work) are exercises for self healing and disease prevention. They have been developed and handed down various lineages for millennia. There are literally thousands of forms, each used to heal specific health conditions, open meridian blockages, balance internal organ energies, and increase overall well being.
Medical Qi Gong are simple, low-stress, effective exercises, which can be broken down into meditation-based forms, movement-based forms, Qi guiding forms or a combination of all three. These exercises are accessible to most people regardless of age or physical fitness.
